After a 6-month hiatus MD came back with more of a
mainstream progressive rock sound. This time the distinguishing feature were
the two news breaks—news you wouldn’t traditionally hear on mainstream
media—news that was a little quirky and strange.
Momentary Dementia now ceases to exist
as a stand-alone show and has been reborn again! As Alistair explains:
“Due to my work schedule that frequently has me working
in the evenings, doing a ‘live’ show was rarely possible. I have almost
always prerecorded my show for an on-demand/virtual audience, which
essentially meant I had little/no feedback. I would play the songs I wanted
to hear—as requests were non-existent— and I found that eventually the only
part of my show I really enjoyed doing was the news”
Momentary Dementia has now evolved
into just that—the quirky news service for the DLBN!
